Sinead is a licensed clinical psychologist and currently leads the curriculum at Authentica Center. In 2003 she received her doctorate in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP/Alliant University). Dr. Broughton has a private practice in Marin County, where she provides social skills groups for girls, with a focus on friendship and social success. She also provides therapeutic services for children, adolescents, families, and individual adults, and is experienced in separation/divorce, co-parenting, parent consultation, and family trauma. Dr. Broughton has over twenty years of experience collaborating compassionately with children, parents, and other caring providers to create actionable solutions for true healing. Sinead resides in Marin Country with her husband and twin girls.

Danya Moss, PsyD, Senior Clinician

Danya Moss, PsyD, Senior Clinician

Danya Moss, PsyD is a licensed child psychologist. For over 15 years she has been helping children, teenagers and their families with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral problems, gender identity, social skills, and parenting. Danya brings a genuine warmth and curiosity to each child that she works with. By creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment, Danya empowers children to find their voice, discover their strengths, and embrace their true selves. She uses positive, evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.

Danya is a graduate of Pomona College and The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP/Alliant University), where she earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2003. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco, and her post-doctoral internship at Brookdale Hospital in New York City. In 2011, she co-founded Authentica Center with her colleague, Barbara Easterlin, PhD. She is the co-author of Authentica’s social-emotional curriculum, which includes over 100 lessons and activities for enhancing social-emotional intelligence in children ages 8-14.

Danya lives in Marin with her husband and their two teenage children. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors in nature, hiking with her two dogs, reading, and spending time with family.

Ghazaleh Rafati, Ph.D. Neuropsychologist PSY

Ghazaleh Rafati, PhD, Neuropsychologist

Ghazaleh specializes in pediatric neuropsychological assessment of children ranging in age from 6 years old to adults. She incorporates both a relational and psychodynamic approach to her assessments, working closely with all the caregivers as well as other professionals involved in the client’s life. Her belief: neuropsychological assessment provide a more in-depth understanding of the client’s strengths and challenges, showing first-hand, how to support and empower them in all the aspects of their life.

With an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, a Master’s Degree from Harvard, and a PhD from Palo Alto University’s Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, Ghazaleh has worked in the field since 2003 with experience in the areas of outpatient, inpatient, schools, residential, day treatment, partial hospitalization as well as private practice settings. Some of her particular areas of expertise are: ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Substance Abuse, Asperger Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder, Childhood trauma and Attachment. Ghazaleh is an active member of the following Associations: American Psychological Association, Society of Clinical Neuropsychology, Northern California Neuropsychology Association, California Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, and Marin Psychological Association.
